1/10/2008

Wow, it's October already. Damn, I have a feeling that 2008 is going really fast, but of course that's just me. This is my 7th post in my blog, and I'm surprised I'm keeping up. Even though no one really reads my blog, well.. there's no comments on it so if you want to give me constructive critiscm please do. I won't mind at all!

Anyway.. school is a pain in the ass, really. They put me up with homework most likely every day, and then we have to do tests like once every week. Though, we have like 2 next week, which is the last week after I have a break of a week. I'm not sure if any of you guys have a break then, but whatever.

Hah, the only thing awesome about school is that they gave me an A+ for math. Hahah, I'm not smart at all, really. I just found that test way too easy. I was happy since I'm not good at math most of the time.

Putting that aside, let's upload another 8-bit remix. It's Castlevania again, but not just any Castlevania game, it's Castlevania: Dracula X. Not much to say about this game, it's for the SNES. You should play it, it's an okay game. The 8-bit remix today is Illusionary Dance. Which can be heard when fighting Dracula. It's similiar to Dance of Illusions but slightly different.

That's all I wanted to say for now, so see ya all on the next post!

And yet, here I am again. Tired after a hard day of school.. well a hard day? More like a nice and easy day. Half of the class weren't at school because of something I don't know of. But whatever, at least it was quiet and easy to listen to teachers other than them yelling at everyone everytime.

Anyway, I've downloaded the Megaman 9 trial on my PS3. I have to say that it's pretty good, kinda nostalgic since it's 8-bit. There's only one stage in the trial, I think. I haven't beaten it yet. Yes, it's that hard for me. Might not be as hard as I'm saying now, but it's pretty hard. I haven't even gotten to the boss of the stage. (if you can, that is) But all in all, I think it's a pretty good game. Really fun.

Today, there's another 8-bit remix up for you. This time it's from Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped. Most likely one of my favorite Crash Bandicoot games around, especially when I was a kid. Crash Bash was cool too, but the designs were pretty bad. The characters had no face expression whatsoever, so the designs looked pretty weird. Of course, I didn't look at that when I was younger, so I still have a lot of fun with Crash Bash. But that's beside the point. The 8-bit remix I'm presenting today is, Dingodile's boss theme. Or his theme on that game. Whatever you prefer.

Dingodile was one of my favorite bosses in the game. But there aren't a lot of bosses in Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped anyway, so that doesn't really make much sense. My all-time favorite is Dr. Neo Cortex, just because of how the battle is and the music is also really good. I also liked the music in Dingodile's battle, which is why I've remixedit to 8-bit.

Now, here's something I wanna rant about. Haters. They piss me off so much, goddamn. I'm sorry, but just now I received a comment on my channel saying:
'U SUCK!!!!!!!
Make more mario vids
NO CASTEVANIA'
I'm sure that if that will happen to you, you'll get pissed off too. Here's simply what I responded with and there's nothing else I have to say about it:
'Oh, why should I? I do what I want, and you can't stop me. If you want to see Mario videos that badly, you'll have to do them yourself. Plus, if you don't like my videos, DON'T watch them. For gods sake, I've had just about enough of you haters.'
So, if any of you is reading this, don't watch my videos if you don't like them. Simple as that. I make whatever I want to do, and that's it. If I allow you people to make requests, I'll gladly accept them. But for now, I do not accept requests. Expect them in the near future.

That's all for now guys, see you in the next post!

Oh, wow.. it's almost October, isn't it? Oh boy.. I can't wait untill I have exams. It's probably gonna be a hard year for me, but I'll do my best. Heck.. like I never do my best. (sarcasm)

Anyway, there's not much to say today. Well, nothing that I can think of now. Maybe that when I'm typing this, things will come to my mind and I'll think of something. But for now, nothing really.

I've been playing the new Sonic game for the DS for a while, and I have to say that I do like it, but I just don't think Sonic works as a RPG. You might disagree with me, but it doesn't work. Oh, and Amy has got a boyfriend, well so she says anyway. I haven't gotten that far in the game to know if she really does have a boyfriend, or is just trying to make Sonic jealous. I doubt anyone would be jealous but who cares?!?!

And then there's: Kirby Super Star Ultra. Haven't gotten the chance to play it yet, but I'm sure it's lots of fun. I'll probably be posting a video or two on the game, maybe even a playthrough, who knows. But Kirby games have always been great, I can say there isn't a Kirby game that I don't like. I've been playing Kirby since the NES days, and I love the games. Not so much to make playthroughs from it, but maybe Kirby Super Star Ultra, will be an exception. We'll just have to find out.

As always, I've put up a new 8-bit remix. Today it's Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, and it's the battle theme. I'm sure everyone agrees that this theme wins the award of most random encounter theme ever. I'm sure you all agree with me. I really like this song, it's so fun, you can dance to it. And no, I don't dance to it, but it gives me urges to do so.

I didn't do a blog post yesterday, because I really didn't know what to type in the blog. Seems that I should've done that, since I'm really typing a lot of stuff now. But hey, if you like to read, then this is the blog for. (if you're interested in this, anyway) And because I didn't update yesterday, I almost missed posting up about the other 8-bit remix that I put up. That remix was from Castlevania: Circle of the Moon. It's the Awake theme, the song you'll here in the Catacombs. (beginning area) I can't put up a Blogger video of that, but here's a link to the YouTube video. And of course a download link, right here!

And as always, enjoy. Untill next time!

I'll let you guys in on something, but don't freak out or anything, because it's not anything special.

As you may have noticed, I've deleted all of the Symphony of the Night bosses I did. The reason for that is NOT simple, as I don't know anymore why I did that. But whatever, I've been working on them recently again, and I'm nowhere near finished. The last boss I did was Granfaloon, which a lot of people know as Legion. You know, the ball of zombies, or whatever you call it.

That's just all I wanted to say about that, really. Also, for the Aria of Sorrow bosses. I'm almost done with that, recording-wise. I only have to do the last 2 bosses and then I'm done recording the Aria of Sorrow bosses on Hard Mode. I plan to upload one boss fight every day if I get to it, so look forward to that. If you're interested, that is.

Anyway, as usual, I've put up another 8-bit remix for the day. Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time again, but this time, the song is more epic. Because it's the boss battle theme. I like the boss battle theme from that game, it's actually pretty good. Fun to listen to while trying to defeat the boss. I also liked the one from Superstar Saga, but that's not what we're talking about now. You can download the song here.

YouTube video.

I hope everyone will enjoy the 8-bit remixes, as I'm trying to do one every day. And no, I didn't make them myself. I use a program to drag MIDI files in and then it sounds like 8-bit.

Untill next time.

Recently, as you may have noticed. I've been doing the bosses from Aria of Sorrow on Hard Mode. Since I didn't do the playthrough on Hard Mode, and have already done it on normal. I thought that, doing another playthrough would be boring so I just decided to do the bosses. Well, I've done the first 4 bosses. 2 of which are uploaded when I'm currently typing this. Creaking Skull and Manticore have been uploaded as of now. I have to upload Big Golem and Great Armor later.

The only problem now is, that I'm kind of stuck at Headhunter. He's a pain in the ass to beat on Hard Mode, but don't worry.. I'll get there.

That being said, I've put up a new 8-bit remix today. This time, it's from Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin. I think that it's Richter Belmont's theme, but I'm not sure. The song is called "Bloodlines Bequethed. Check it out.

You can download the song here.

Enjoy everyone, untill next time.

Lately, I've not been doing any playthroughs. The reason for that is rather simple. I'm currently recording Metal Gear Solid again for Ultima Commentaries, since I've deleted all of them when I did them on my account. (ZSlyzer) That's one of the main reasons. However, there's also another reason. School is really keeping me busy with their homework and whatnot. I might not be able to post a lot of videos, like I used to. (i.e. Phoenix Wright) I'm sure you people don't mind at all. This is also a really important school year for me, as I have to do exams in a few months. So wish me luck for that as well.

That said, I've put up a new 8-bit remix. This time it's Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time - The Time Machine. Which is the song you'll hear in the title screen. Be sure to check it out.

Can also be found on my YouTube profile.

Note: I never said I was the one who made the 8-bit remixes, so don't accuse me of that.

That also being said, I'm sure you guys have already heard about this, but I'm just spreading the news. Recently, Square-Enix has announced the RE: Chain of Memories (the PS2 CoM remake) is going to be released in the US. This is great news, as we can finally play the CoM remake in English. There has not been any news for an European release, but I'll be sure to keep you guys updated.

Square Enix, Inc., the publisher of Square Enix® interactive entertainment products in North America, and Disney Interactive Studios, announced today that KINGDOM HEARTS Re:Chain of Memories will be released for North American audiences on December 2, 2008.

KINGDOM HEARTS Re:Chain of Memories is the essential piece that bridges the gap between KINGDOM HEARTS and KINGDOM HEARTS II. Originally released in 2004 for Game Boy® Advance, this full 3D rendition on the PlayStation®2 has never been released in North America — this is an entry in the KINGDOM HEARTS saga that fans of the series can’t miss!

This does not mean that Final Mix+ is going to be released. They haven't said anything about that matter, and I doubt it would be released anywhere besides Japan.

Here's the official game cover for RE: Chain of Memories:
